Fractional to American Odds Converter
Use this fractional to American odds converter to translate any UK-style fractional price into the American (moneyline) format used by US sportsbooks. Fractional odds express profit ratio (3/2 = 1.5 profit per 1 stake); American odds express profit on a $100 base bet (+150).
The formula
If Numerator > Denominator: American = (Num ÷ Den) × 100. 3/2 → 1.5 × 100 = +150. 5/1 → 5 × 100 = +500.If Numerator < Denominator: American = −(Den ÷ Num) × 100. 1/2 → −(2 ÷ 1) × 100 = −200. 4/5 → −125.Even money: 1/1 = +100 (or "EVEN" on some US tickets).

Frequently Asked Questions
Why convert fractional to American?
US sportsbooks (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars) display odds in moneyline (American) by default. If your source uses UK fractional (Bet365, William Hill, racing programs), you need to convert before comparing prices.
Why does 1/1 equal +100?
1/1 ("evens") means 1 unit profit per 1 unit staked. +100 means winning $100 on a $100 stake. Both are even money, 50% implied probability.
Will the result match the sportsbook exactly?
US books typically round American odds to the nearest 5 (e.g. +125, -110, -150). The calculator shows the mathematically exact conversion; round to the nearest standard line your book displays.
